What is the CPCS?
The CPCS is a free service that allows you to consult with a pharmacist about your minor illness. Our trained pharmacists can assess your symptoms, provide advice, and recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications. Additionally, they can supply urgent medication if you've run out of your regular prescription.

Who Can Use the CPCS?
The CPCS is available to anyone registered with a GP in England. Patients can be referred by GPs, NHS 111, and urgent care centres, or they can self-refer via NHS 111 for minor illnesses or urgent medication supplies.
